Stuck at home?
That sounds so horrible right? Home is a place of comfort and rest. It shouldn't feel like a place of confinement. For whatever reason, when you've been cooped up for several weeks, you can easily catch a bad case of cabin fever. After binge watching your favorite shows and eating everything in the house, anyone can easily fall into the trap of feeling unproductive and unmotivated. That is why I have come up with the following list of ideas that you can do around the house to stay productive and sane.
TO DO LIST
1. Start a hobby.
2. Invest in yourself by learning a new skill through you tube or an online course.
3. Learn to cook meals from scratch.
4. Plant a garden if weather permits. If it's too cold in your area you can always start seeds from indoors and then transplant when it warms up.
5. Do some spring cleaning. It's Spring and you're home, so why not do it anyway?
6. Organize spaces in your house like closets, your attic, pantry or garage.
7. Do some yard work.
8. Read a book.
9. Go through your finances and create a budget.
10. Meal prep for a week or two if you're not already doing it.
11. Redecorate a room in your house.
12. Clean up your phone by deleting apps and things you don't use anymore.
13. Experiment with foods and create new recipes.
14. Write down your short and long term goals and how you're going to achieve them.
15. Give yourself a makeover.
16. Do something nice and thoughtful for your loved ones or neighbors.
17. Watch a documentary.
18. Take a walk or hike in nature.
19. Go through those emails you've been dreading.
20. Create a time capsule.
21. Browse Pinterest for DIY ideas.
22. Do a Bible study by yourself or over the phone with a friend.
23. Join a workout group on social media.
24. Renovate those areas of your home that you've been postponing.
25. Pick up trash in your neighborhood or nearby highway.
26. Create a bucket list of all the things you're going to do when this pandemic is over.
Hope this helps keep you level headed and prolific!
