Hey y'all,
My name is Georgia and I'm a momma to six incredible kiddos. I have a passion for Jesus, healthy and humble living, DIYs and living the simplest life possible. Because of my faith, I see everything through a biblical worldview. Prior to becoming a stay at home mom I was a Registered Nurse working in the hospital. Every two years we've had a baby and I find myself working less and less. After much prayer, I left the healthcare industry to stay at home with our kids. As much as I love meeting new people and taking care of them, I felt like home is where I needed to be for now. It definitely has been an adjustment over the past few years and I wouldn't trade it for anything. Three years ago I was inspired to create a blog after spending many hours at home with my children taking pictures and journaling about our days. Originally I wanted to store our family's many adventures and to share my thoughts and experiences with other moms. Little did I know; this blogging thing has strings attached. As parents we have our good and bad days. Writing helps me get through some of those days especially since there’s not much adult conversation going on when it's just me and the little ones. This blog has also been a great outlet for me to express and share my faith with others. Now I see why moms love to blog and there’s a huge community of them, sharing, encouraging and inspiring one another. My hope is that you will find encouragement, a good laugh or tips to help you along the way.
When it comes to my love life, I am very much in love and happily married to my husband Rob. I never realized how much a person could love someone until I met this wonderful man. He is my soul mate, best friend and the comic relief when I need it the most. He has a sarcastic sense of humor and makes me laugh often. As you can see in the picture, his shirt says it all.

With five kids running around and one hip hugger, you can imagine just how chaotic our home can be. Between the kids and my husband, there is always someone up to something. Hence the name The Usual Suspects. Whether there is a mess to clean up, a toilet or sink to be unclogged, laundry to be folded, dishes to be washed, hugs to be shared, jokes to be told, books to be read, songs to be sung, prayers to be prayed, etc. Not a dull moment in this house!! Did I mention that sometimes our house sounds like a concert with an occasional mosh pit? It’s hard to get a quiet moment but through all the chaos, just know there is a lot of love and energy shared between us. I thank God daily for blessing me with the gift of being a wife and momma to these amazing people.
